Bohemian Wraps, Prague

A festival of glass!

Lots of different types of glass – both sculptural and in facades.

I remember having an amazing stay in Prague and wanted to stay longer. We saw all the main sights though spent much more time outside than inside.

And we weren’t shopping for glassware.

Bohemian crystal is of a certain type that doesn’t quite match my tastes.

But what if it’s curvy shapes were a bit more on the modernist side of avant-garde?

The images at the source of these images were created with a formula applied by ChatGPT.

The base formula I used was:

A [Bohemian glass] [glass type] with [sculptural properties] made by [glass technique] in a [period setting] [where it is located in the setting] [how it is located in the setting] with [lighting and mood], [composition – e.g. camera angle], inspired by [Style/Movement], [Main artist of the time] –ar 3:2 –s 10 –c 25 –style raw

This was then set to use different styles from different times and then mixed up together, along with a separate prompt for the gallery or boutique fronts.

Sculptural forms were created that then went to inform facades and vice versa.

The beauty of Midjourney is just how much you can play with it. And you don’t need to worry about image weights, character weights or the other slightly technical parameter settings to get great results.

Just play!
